Espacios, géneros y públicos de la música en Madrid

Comunidad de Madrid, PHS-2024/PH-HUM-194, 2025-2027

The MadMusic project aims to investigate the musical practices developed in Madrid over more than six centuries, addressing the entire value chain in the recovery of musical heritage. This includes the study, cataloging, and digitization of musical events and their sources, as well as their modern recovery and preservation in the form of editions, studies, and recordings. It also focuses on transferring this heritage to society through public performances, studying the spaces in their architectural and acoustic dimensions, and analyzing audience reception.
